Texas Detour

After visiting family in Oklahoma we headed south for a short vacation to Texas.

We stopped for a night in Grapevine and found this really nice brewery.  It has a nice beer garden with games that the kids took advantage of.

Then it was on to Austin.  We had a great time eating our way through the city again.

Pat took the older two on a canoe ride on Town Lake which is part of the Colorado River Basin.  They thought it was awesome!

We also were able to catch up with friends. This is Maggie and my best friend's son.

We also stopped in College Station for a couple of nights.  The kids thought Bottle Cap Alley was pretty cool.  We checked out some of Pat's old haunts as well.
