Catholic Schools Week Mass

Cormac's preschool celebrated the end of Catholic Schools Week with a school-wide mass.  The preschool classes sang songs at the end for everyone.

Maggie loves to get into the boys' stuff, especially their beds (I think it is a big hint that she wants a big bed too.).  When she quietly disappears I always catch her in someone's bed.

She also likes to climb into their beds at bedtime.

Finally a nice bit of weather so the younger ones could get in some bike riding.

Who doesn't like chocolate pudding?  I am not sure if she ended up eating as much as she wore, but it was fun no matter what.

Last week the kids discovered the dress-up box again and were busy for awhile changing looks.

Pioneer Picnic

Cormac's preschool celebrated Kansas Day with a Pioneer Picnic last week.  The kids could dress in pioneer/cowboy/Native American clothing.  Naturally Cormac wanted to wear his boots.  He looked great as a cowpoke!

Go take a hike

We finally had decent weather this past weekend so we went over to Weston Bend State Park in Missouri for a hike.  The boys all recently discovered Pat's Camelbaks so they all had to have one for the hike because you never know when you will need a back pack full of water (not often since I got to carry two of them most of the hike). We did the 2.75 mile loop and they all did a fantastic job.  Cadel was the only one whose legs were worn out (and that was at 2.25 miles so he did really well).

Ready to go

Much like her brothers she likes to be prepared.  She is wearing Cadel's slippers and mittens and Cormac's backpack and hat. She is ready to go (and I think she fully expected to leave after she put all that on).  You never know when you will need that stuff.
