First Snow

The temperature here has been hovering around freezing for a few days, so it was just a matter of time until we saw a little bit of snow. Yesterday it snowed off and on all afternoon. The ground wasn't cold enough for anything to stick, but Gus spent quite a bit of time just looking out the back windows watching the flakes come down.

If only it would stick so Gus could go out and play!

A visit from Mimi and Opa

My dad and Janet were just here for about 10 days visiting. We did lots of fun things, starting with Oktoberfest in Munich. After the weekend trip to Munich we came back to Bamberg and took a few day trips to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Nuernberg and some shopping around Bamberg. This past weekend we loaded up the whole circus in the BAV and drove to Prague, Czech Republic, for the long weekend. It was wonderful to have them here for a visit and I definately enjoyed all of the help! Gus had the best time with his grandparents and loved being spoiled by them.
