Ft. Bryan

Friday morning while all big kids where at school Maggie, Cadel and I built some forts.  Then Cadel wanted to play hide and seek.  So every single time he hid in his fort.

Weekend with Dad

Last weekend I went to KC for a weekend with my best girlfriends from college so Pat got to call the shots all weekend.  The kids had a great time.
Saturday morning they went to IHOP for breakfast.

Then they came home and watched "Dolphin Tale"

And I am guessing there was plenty of time just messing around.

After Maggie went to bed Saturday night all of the boys watched "Transformers".
They all had a great weekend with dad!

Spring sports

Spring sports have finally started for Gus and Cormac.  Cormac is playing soccer.  His team is the Cheetahs (it was his suggestion so he is pumped about that).  Gus is playing baseball and his team is the Wolverines (Gus wanted the Royals...).  They have both had practices for the past two weeks and games start next week.

Looking for ladybugs during Gus' practice.

This one will find every opportunity to dig in the dirt.

Out and about

We were out running around Saturday with lots of errands.  While Gus was at a birthday party we made a stop at the barbershop for Cormac and Cadel.  I snapped a few pictures while we were waiting.

Before Cadel's haircut.

After Cormac's haircut.  We had to get his evened out after his "haircut" a few weeks ago.  He is only so serious in this picture because he couldn't find the lollipops.

Maybe it's Maybelline

Maggie has continued to find things to explore (get into).  My makeup was the target yesterday.  I think she did a lovely job.
Luckily, I don't use waterproof mascara...

Easter Maggie

Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures of Easter. I did get a few of Maggie.
She is completely unexcited about her dress and sandals.

But she was all smiles when she got to put on a shirt and pants with her regular shoes.

Look, no training wheels!

At the beginning of last month we sized-up in bikes.  We bought Gus a bigger bike with gears and Cormac then moved up to Gus' old bike.  Cadel was given Cormac's old bike.  We knew he was ready for riding without training wheels, but that was the most seamless transition.  He just got on and took off.  He loves having a "big boy" bike now.  There is no shortage of bikes or cyclists around here--we pretty much have our own bike gang now.
