Cadel's first days

I had a moment to get some pictures on the computer so I thought I would share some of them from Cadel's first few days.  He is now a little over a week old and a very sweet baby.  We came home last Saturday evening.  Gus and Cormac were excited to have their new brother home, especially Gus.

He had loads of blonde hair but it isn't as light as his brothers (at least not yet).

Not too happy about getting in the car seat for the ride home from the hospital.

All my boys.
Grandma is here to visit so Gus and Grandma were singing songs to Cadel.
Lots of singing.

Welcome to the world baby boy!

We are so happy to announce that Cadel William joined our family yesterday at 7:34 p.m.   He weighed in at a measley 8 lbs. 6 oz. ( so tiny compared to his two big brothers).  He is 22 inches long.  He is doing wonderfully and we are so excited to add him to our family.  More pictures to follow.

Tank you very much!

We always seem to have plenty of boxes around.  Pat decided to get creative and make a tank for Gus and Cormac.  Neither one really knows what one is, but once Pat drew a picture and explained, Gus was super excited.  They helped Pat construct the tank and then did a little decorating with crayons (Gus even drew a steering wheel inside).  They both had fun playing in it initially, but Gus has really had fun playing tank commander.

Helping with construction.

Halloween Dress Rehearsal

Gus wants to be a robot for Halloween this year.  So I found a box that will work and cut head and arm holes.  We still have to paint and decorate his box, but he likes to try it on and pretend to be a robot.  Of course we had to find a robot box for Cormac as well.  Cormac is going to be a dog for Halloween, but likes to play robot as well.

Last Saturday they put on their robot boxes and were even practicing trick-or-treating.

Apple pickin' fun

We are in the midst of a great apple season.  We took the boys to Carter Mountain this week for some more apple picking and a visit to the pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins.  We all have the best time there.  This time there were many different varieties of apples to pick.  We settled on Braeburn and Granny Smith (and brought home more than enough of both).  Gus and Cormac also picked out their own pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.

Go Hoos!

We have season tickets to UVA football this year.  We took the boys to a tailgate and the game on Saturday against the Vandals of Idaho.  It was perfect football weather and everyone had a great time.
