Maggie's First Day of Preschool

Maggie started preschool last week.  This is our last year of preschool (yay!--next year 4 kids in the SAME school) and Maggie really seems to enjoy her class so far.  She goes three days a week from 9 until 2, so she gets to take her lunch to school.  She also likes music and recess.

Return of Max

Max the wonder dog returned to us a few weekends ago.  The old guy is 15 now and in decent health for an old geezer..  Gam-Gam took good care of him for us while we were overseas.   The kids are thrilled to have him back and he seems happy to be back.

Back to School

Today was the first day of school for the elementary kids.  Gus (4th grade) and Cormac (2nd grade) went to school for a half-day.  I took Cadel in to his kindergarten class for a meeting with parents and students.  He will start going full time next week (the same day Maggie starts preschool).

Here they are!  Cormac was super excited.  Gus was nervous.  Cadel was a little nervous but excited as well.

Gus was not smiling so Cadel tried to help out.  

 So we had to rearrange.

The day went well for them.  As with any new school, it will take some getting used to, but I think they acclimate pretty quickly.
