Halloween

Gus and Cormac had a fantastic Halloween this year.  Gus has finally gotten into the spirit of it all.  He did a wonderful job of decorating his robot costume and was so proud of it.  He was also very good about trick-or-treating this year.  Gus' enthusiasm rubbed off on Cormac as well.

The Friday before Halloween the JAG school had a Halloween party with games and trick-or-treating for the kids.  They had a great time there.  Monday Gus wore his costume to school for show and tell and they had a Halloween party at school to celebrate.  Monday night, of course, Pat took Gus and Cormac around the neighborhood for trick-or-treating.  Now we have LOTS of treats (it is so hard to stay out of that stuff when the boys aren't looking...) and Gus is already looking forward to next year.

Trick-or-treating at the JAG school.  They were very liberal with the candy there (fortunately for my sweet tooth, unfortunately for my thighs).
Taking a snack break at the JAG school Halloween--trick-or-treating is hard work!

Pumpkin carving time.  This was our second round of pumpkins--we had some out on the front porch but a squirrel ate them (I never knew squirrels even liked pumpkin).

Halloween night--ready for some treats!

The littlest pumpkin.
