Halloween!

We were in Virginia all last week because Pat had a class at the JAG school so it has taken awhile to get these pictures posted.  We had a good Halloween.  The Friday before Halloween (we left for VA on Saturday) we went to Boo at the Zoo at our zoo.  Gus was so excited to go to the zoo at night.

Ready for Boo at the Zoo.  Gus wanted to be a pumpkin this year.  I think it had something to do with Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin.
He was wonderful with putting the costume on.  Trick-or-treating was different.  Even though we practiced at home he was still pretty shy for trick-or-treating at the zoo and on Halloween.

We originally planned for Cormac to be a garden gnome, but you can see how that went over.
Gus even tried to help get Cormac to cooperate.

So we axed the gnome and went for a little German boy instead.
Ready to go inside the zoo.
Boo at the Zoo!

This one is from Halloween.  We were on the way to Granddad's house for trick-or-treating.  Mainly Gus wanted to go over and "scare" Granddad with his pumpkin costume.   We briefed Granddad so Gus was very happy with Granddad's reaction to the scary pumpkin.  More on our trip to Virginia soon.

Cormac looked cute as either a German boy, or a gnome. Gus was a perfect pumpkin!
