Catching up

I have been a slacker lately with posting stuff here. I have even been a slacker taking pictures--must be that hot southern summer, who knows? The World Cup started on my birthday so we have been glued to that for the past couple of weeks. We even watched the first US game in true Euro fashion. We moved the TV into the backyard for an outdoor viewing experience. We cheered for the US and our other favorite, Germany.
Gus loves to chant "U.S.A., U.S.A.!" But he also chants "Ger-man-ee!" for his birthplace, good boy.
We have also been making great use out of the pool.
Gus was admiring the reflection.
Cormac loves to crawl under everything. He often gets stuck under things, but here Gus is hanging out under the kitchen table with him.
More trips to the zoo. We went early this week so the elephants were still sleeping. The little statue had to do.
Here is Gus explaining which zebras are babies and which ones are big boys and girls.
