Hiking in Rotary Park

Over Spring Break we went to Rotary Park which is just a couple miles from our house to go for a hike on the trails.  The boys have done this before with Pat and love it (as long as we are on the trails and not the sidewalk because "that's not hiking").

Bikes!

We had to adjust bikes with everyone growing.  We bought a gear bike for Cormac.  Gave Cormac's old bike to Cadel.  Put the training wheels on Cadel's old bike and gave that to Maggie (and still donated two bikes to the bike store). Although it hasn't exactly been bike weather yet with tons of rain and cool temps, the kids have gotten out on the bikes as much as they can.

"I'm okay!"

School "work"

I loved this when I was emptying out Cadel's school folder one night.  The instructions were to "draw and label something that is lighter than a can of soup."  So Cadel, being Cadel, drew a dot and labeled it "crumb."

Catching up

Life has been, well, life and it has been a little busy.  I've been meaning to get pictures back up for grandparents and such to see so here is some catching up from the past couple of months.
Maggie got new glasses (frames and prescription).
Spring soccer started for all three boys.

Maggie got her ears pierced and was very brave about it.  Didn't shed a tear.
So proud of her new earrings.
Gus has learned how to grill burgers, hotdogs and steaks.
Many random drawing days. Forests see the Bryan kids and weep at the paper use.
These heads always seem to be together, cooking up something or just moving like an amoeba.
More soccer.  I don't have many pics because we have had a couple of games cancelled due to SO MUCH rain.  Also, the boys have had games at the same times and I just haven't been able to.  (I am the assistant for Cadel's team so there will probably never be a pic of him in action but he is the biggest and fastest on his team...).
Some very cold soccer games.
Getting "going away" gifts from Pat.

Maggie and Cadel got "Dad Dolls" from Pat.
Biking seasoning is slowly starting.  Cadel created a short track using chalk on the driveway and sticks in the yard.

And Easter.  This kid was up at 4:30 a.m. on Easter morning...
