Discovering new toys

Maggie is starting to figure out that there are way more cool toys than the baby stuff she has been playing with.  She had a blast checking out the Duplo blocks while we were down watching Cormac build some new dinosaurs.

Rub-a-dub

Maggie is getting to the point where she enjoys bath time.  She likes to splash in the water and play with a toy or two.  She's still trying to figure out what it is all about.

Duplo Dinos

As the dinosaur trend rages on at our house the boys have figured out yet another way to incorporate dinosaurs into things.  Gus and Cormac have now taken to building different dinosaurs out of their Lego Duplo blocks (Gus has some of the regular-sized Lego dinosaur sets but Gus and Cormac can only play with those when Cadel is asleep or otherwise not around--a whole other story).  One day they took one of their dinosaur books to the playroom and used the pictures to start building them.  They change them out as they have new favorites.  I think they have done a great job.

Early risers

All of the Bryan kids have been early risers (must get that from their mom).  Gus and Cormac are finally learning the art of sleeping in (until 6:30 woo-hoo!).  You could forgo an alarm with Maggie and Cadel around.  They are up between 5:00 and 5:30.  Sometimes I am hopeful they will go back to sleep so I bring them into our room but this picture is a perfect example of how it usually ends up.

Just take a little off the sides

Cadel got a hair cut a couple of weeks ago.  He does so well and sits very still but he has to be in Pat's lap to do so.  The lollipop at the end is always a big treat!
