And now for something a little different
We just found out we will be welcoming a baby girl to the Bryan house in July! Everyone is very excited. Gus and Cormac are thrilled at the prospect of a little sister (Cadel doesn't get it and doesn't really care one way or the other at this point). Gus even said, "now you won't be the only girl!"

Bicycle! Bicycle! I love to ride my bicycle!
We bought Gus a new bike this weekend. Over the fall/winter he quickly outgrew his old one. His new bike doesn't have training wheels (we didn't want to have them put on just to take them off right away). We were right that he was ready--he learned in 20 minutes and is now awesome! Cormac now has Gus' old bike and is really becoming a great peddler as well. We took them right down the street to Cheyenne Mountain State Park to practice. There is a big empty parking lot. At first we wanted to take them to a park with grass but everywhere around here is too mushy with still-melting snow. They had a fantastic time and LOVE cruising around on their bikes. Cadel now inherits the tricycle (Cormac calls it the "motorcycle" for some reason) and he has been itching to have that for awhile. Here are lots of pictures from the boys weekend biking adventures.
First go on Saturday.
Gus started out with help from Dad.
Then Gus had to offer advice to Cormac.
Not 20 minutes later Gus was going on his own. He did have one tumble into some slushy grass but after a brief recovery he was right back on and going some more.
Cadel was upset because he wants to ride a big boy bike too.
Day 2 of bike practice and Cadel was busy taking over the tricycle.

Worn out
I'm always amazed when kids fall asleep in car seats. It looks so uncomfortable, but it never bothers them.

A couple of random pictures
Just a couple of random pictures I have from the past week.
This boy sure does love his trains. Doesn't even matter the train--as long as it "chuffs".
Gus had really cool hair after preschool the other day. Not on purpose--it just ends up that way after taking on and off his hat all day.
This little one is in dire need of a haircut but I know I can't take him anyplace--he will freak out if a stranger comes near him with scissors. So I am going to have to get up the courage and have Pat help me give him a trim at home sometime soon.

We should have named him Sneaky
Cadel is always getting into sneaky spots, usually so quietly we don't know he's doing anything. This was a new one I found today--in one of the drawers in the kitchen.
