Another snow day

 It is hard to tell in the pictures but they are chuffing their engines in the snow.  I think the engines kept getting lost in all the snow but they had a great time.

Red Rock Canyon Open Space

The weather was mild enough for a little hiking this past weekend. We loaded up and went to Red Rock Canyon Open Space here in Colorado Springs. All of the boys had been before, even Max, and they were excited to show me the awesome hiking trails.

The Downtown Aquarium

We headed to Denver to the Downtown Aquarium last weekend.  The boys had a blast checking out all of the underwater creatures.

We are early risers so we were there before it even opened.  Here is Cadel hanging out waiting for the aquarium to open.

Big family trip

The boys and I headed to Beaver Creek over the weekend to meet up with Mimi, Opa, Aunt Lauren, Uncle Phil, Claire and Uncle Tyler.  Pat enjoyed a little peace at home taking care of Max.  Gus and Claire went to ski school.  We tried with Cormac but he just wasn't into it yet.  Maybe when he is four, but I think he just doesn't like winter sports because he doesn't like being cold (can't say that I blame him on that one).  I didn't have a chance to get many pictures but the boys had a great time visiting with everyone.

Gus was really excited to try ski school.  He did a half-day.  He was wiped out when I picked him up.
